Business Sales Consultant (Florida)

We are looking for full-time Business Sales Consultants, residing in the Tampa or SE Florida area, to identify opportunities with small to mid-size businesses to assist them in managing their employee-related costs and liabilities (Payroll, Human Resources, Workers’ Compensation, Benefits, etc.). Those selected will be responsible for managing a steady pipeline of prospects and growing a network of referral relationships. Strong presentation and closing skills are essential to success.
Worksite offers a competitive base salary (not a draw), 1st year upfront annualized commission, a monthly travel/business expense allowance and perpetual commissions on all your new business for duration of time they remain a Worksite client. You also will continue to earn commissions, even if you are no longer employed by Worksite.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, execute and oversee strategies and plans to achieve or exceed set sales targets.
- Build and maintain good and lasting relationships with clients.
- Partner with other sales consultants in the field to improve sales and marketing strategies.
- Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports. Provide timely briefings to The Senior Director of Sales.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Manage and grow referral relationships.
- Organize and participate in promotional events.
- Partner with internal resources to monitor customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication (both written and spoken in English) and listening skills. Adaptable communication style to interact effectively with team members, clients, brokers and upper management.
- Outstanding negotiation skills.
- Excellent math and business skills.
- High level of understanding of the PEO market.
- Strong presentation and closing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, ClientSpace preferred.
- PEO experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience and knowledge of payroll processing/Insurance/PEO services.
- 3-5 years sales and marketing experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
